On Sunday afternoons, from 1-3, we offer a calm, focused place for children to connect with their expressive capacities.
Drawing Attention
We offer six week sessions for ages 5-12 to practice art technnique, learn about major works of art and connect with other children in a supportive space.
Drawing and painting boost children's brain development by strengthening neural connections, enhancing fine motor skills, and improving cognitive functions like memory, spatial awareness, and problem-solving. These activities foster emotional regulation, relieve stress, and encourage creative, critical thinking
Cost: $300 all supplies included. 10% discount for Red Fox Families currently enrolled in after school programs. Income adjusted rates available.

Students will learn about major works of portrait art and develop their own using themselves, animals and other inspiration. All supplies included.

Celebrate the return of the warmth by getting outside! Plein-air landscape drawing and painting has a long history in art. Children will learn about landscape art and together get outside and practice the art of perception.
Our Process
Noticing
Students are introduced to a major work of art. As a group we ask questions about the artwork and think about how to make our own.
Sketch and Play
We start drawing our ideas. We play with line and make mistakes.
Reflect and Plan
We talk to one another about our plan for next steps. What colors will I use? Why?
Paint and Work
We start painting! And encourage one another to keep working.
