2027 Summer Studios
Get ready for some serious fun! As a learning studio we believe that children are inquisitive and that exploring topics through the arts builds on important educational competencies. Our summer studios engage children in big topics, all designed to be explored through arts based materials and self driven inquiry.
Every session spends part of the day in the studio and part of the day outside at nearby parks. We build relationships with ourselves, one another and society. Each session culminates with small presentations of projects and ideas.
Our Summer Studios run from 9-4 with flexibility for drop-off. Aftercare until 6 pm available. Sessions are capped at twelve children and are for ages 4-14 depending on the camp. We value mixed age groups and believe that near peer learning deepens empathy and expands the learning environment for all.
Fashion Design
August 31st-September 4th
Fashion Design Studio! Learn basic hand sitiching and older students will get to use a sewing machine. Children will have an opportunity to make stuffies, clothes for their stuffies and go where their textile imagination takes them!
Arts and Science
July 20th-24th
Children will build skills in art and science through experiential, intuitive, and embodied learning. Children engage in self-directed and direct instruction to build imaginative and tactile projects. A per day option is available for this camp.
